West Brom have today announced their new away kit for the upcoming 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

The yellow and green stripes return for another season, but this time in the ‘barcode’ style we saw on the home kit, with Puma creating the bespoke look solely for the Baggies.

The kit takes inspiration from the 1992/93 Play-off Final ‘barcode stripes’ shirts which saw the Albion beat Port Vale 3-0 at Wembley.

Many fans will love the kit not just for the iconic yellow and green colour scheme but also the nostalgic barcode style which will hark back to the early days of their support for West Brom.

On that note, this is what the writers for WBAReport.com think about the new kit.

William Gill:

I doubt you’ll see a nicer away kit in the Premier League all season, and the green shorts make it look stunning. 10/10.

Cameron Hall:

Puma have pulled a stunner out again.

The revival of previous years’ kits is a clever idea and one which will certainly make it a best seller. 9/10.

Ronan Thompson:

The new away kit has definitely sold me on the barcode stripes.

It’s good to see the club continue with the yellow and green kits too, I feel like they’re fan favourites.

Overall, it’s a solid away strip. 8/10.

Kieran Kelly:

As good as I’d have expected it to be after the home release.

I’m glad we’ve stuck with the yellow and green because it seems to be doing us favours away from home.

Let’s hope they score a hat-trick and make the third kit yellow and red! 9/10.

Ben Roberts:

It’s a relief for everybody, I’m sure, to see that the yellow and green stripes are back for another season.

They are colours unique to the Baggies and the barcode stripes complement them as well as they do the blue and white stripes on the home kit. 9/10.
