#15 Semi Ajayi – £16,500 p/wEmbed from Getty Images
Semi Ajayi has been one of the standout performers for Albion at the back this season and is sure to get a hike in wages now the club have been promoted to the Premier League. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to the top-flight.
#14 Lee Peltier – £18,000 p/wEmbed from Getty Images
Peltier signed for the Baggies after mutually agreeing with Cardiff to cancel the remainder of his contract. His deal is set to expire at the end of this month, however, and it’s unlikely that he’ll be kept on.
#13 Darnell Furlong – £18,500 p/wEmbed from Getty Images
Darnell Furlong has played very well when given the chance, but he’s been unlucky in that he’s competed for his position with two star prospects in Nathan Ferguson and Dara O’Shea. Had he had the typical competition for his role, Furlong likely would’ve been another standout performer in the squad.
#12 Kenneth Zohore – £20,000 p/wEmbed from Getty Images
Kenneth Zohore was signed from Cardiff in the summer for around £8.5m but has failed to make an impact all season, scoring three goals from the penalty spot and none from open play. He’s largely seen by the fans as a waste of money, so to see him rather high on this list might irk a few people.
#11 Matt Phillips – £20,000 p/wEmbed from Getty Images
Matt Phillips has been with the Baggies for a while now and when he’s having a good day out on the pitch, he’s having a good day. He appears to be able to do anything when he’s in form, but the less said about his performances out of form, the better. He may be one of the players heading for the exit this summer.
