Pereira has lit up the Championship this season with a flair that has rarely been seen inside the Hawthorns. With 20 assists, eight goals and many more chances created, the talented Brazilian playmaker has been among the standout performers across the whole division and is fast becoming a fan favourite.
After a slow start to the season he quickly began to repay the faith shown by Bilic and after four games he became a regular starter in the team. A clever set-piece away at QPR saw him score his first goal and from then on his quality was there for all to see.
The tricky winger can play on either side of the pitch; Bilic, however, has often given him license to roam in and around the number ten position, a role in the team where some of his best performances have been.
His technique, vision and execution has been first class and for his price he appears to be an absolute steal in today’s market.
If Albion are to survive in the Premier League then it is vital that he continues his form going into next season.
