Slaven Bilic is interested in signing both Vedat Muriqi and Ozan Tufan from Fenerbahce this summer in the hopes that the Turkish side will offer a discount on the pair in exchange, according to Turkish journalist Talha Arslan.

There has been an abundance of speculation surrounding a potential move to the Hawthorns for Vedat Muriqi, but far less about central midfielder Ozan Tufan, who the Albion have been keen on in the past.

Bilic believes that by offering to sign two players at once from Fenerbahce — who are embroiled in a Financial Fair Play struggle so need to offload players to avoid punishment — they will offer a discount to let the pair join the Baggies.

We spoke to Talha Arslan who further expanded on the news:

Fenerbahce is having a hard time due to the Financial Fair Play regulations, so if a good offer comes, Vedat Muriqi will be sold 100%.

Ozan Tufan will also be sold according to the offer.

Slaven Bilic is understood to have been following the careers of Tufan and Muriqi for a long time now, and views Albion’s promotion to the Premier League as the ideal time to sign the duo.

Ozan Tufan is a 25-year-old central midfielder for the Yellow Canaries, who also represents Turkey’s national team, having played a total of 49 games for them since his debut back in 2014.

West Brom are keen on a box-to-box midfielder and Tufan seems to fit that role very well. If the Baggies can secure both Tufan and Muriqi for an affordable price this summer, it will be seen as superb business by the fans.
